The official Twitter/X account for the ongoing I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Skill TV anime collection has introduced that Yoko Hikasa is becoming a member of the voice solid of the second season. Season two started airing in Japan on July 9, 2025. 

Hikasa shall be voicing the character Anastasia, who’s a priestess that can seem in the seventeenth episode, which can broadcast on August 6, 2025.

Jin Tamamura (A Sister’s All You Want collection director) is directing the anime collection, with Naoki Tozuka (T.P. Sakura: Time Paladin Sakura) as collection screenwriter and scriptwriter, Naru Nishikori (Shadowverse Flame in-between checker) as character designer and chief animation director, Yuuichi Abe (Superior Defender Gundam Power director) as motion director, and R.O.N as music composer. Tsumugi Akita Animation Lab is dealing with the animation manufacturing. 

The anime is predicated on the gentle novel collection written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by Meru. It was first revealed by Kodansha’s Ranobe Bunko on July 2, 2020 and has launched 9 volumes as of April 2025. The collection started as an internet novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on October 31, 2019.

A manga adaptation by Yosuke Kokuzawa started serialization on Kodansha’s Journal Pocket web site and app on June 27, 2020. Nineteen tankobon volumes have been launched as of Might 2025. Kodansha USA releases the manga collection in English. 

A derivative manga by Keiri Amamiya was launched in Journal Pocket on February 17, 2024.

Crunchyroll streamed the 12-episode first season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince so I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Skill as it aired in Japan in 2024. It describes the important synopsis as: 

The research of magic requires aptitude, effort, and the proper bloodline. One sorcerer beloved magic, regardless of missing the bloodline and aptitude for it, and died wishing he’d spent extra time finding out in life. He reawakens as Lloyd, the seventh prince of the Kingdom of Saloum, with all his earlier reminiscences intact. Blessed with a robust magical bloodline, he makes use of his presents to grasp the research of magic.
